How we use lesson recordings and AI

We record lessons to keep children safe. We use AI to help with lesson notes and messages, never to profile your child.

Lesson recordings

Every online lesson is recorded for safeguarding and so we can look into anything raised after a lesson.
Recordings are stored securely and are never shared or sold.
Recordings are kept for 12 months, then deleted.
After 12 months we may keep the teacher’s teaching only, including what the tutor explains and shows, to build our own learning resources. Everything your child said or did, their name and their image are removed first.

AI helps us write short lesson notes and helps Bea reply to WhatsApp messages quickly. Bea always signs as AI.
Names, contact details, school, age, year group, subject and payment details are removed before any AI sees anything. The AI never knows who you or your child are.
The AI services we use never learn from our data.
Every use of AI is recorded and checked, so we can show it never saw who you are.
Anything Bea cannot answer goes to a person.

You can switch off AI lesson notes or Bea’s replies for your family. You can also ask for a copy of your child’s data, or for it to be deleted.
